Do I need any special tools to use BSK Model’s 3D-printed parts?
Not at all. Our parts are designed with ease of use in mind. You can work with them using standard modeling tools such as a hobby knife, side cutters, and tweezers. Assembly is simple — just cut, clean, and glue using regular super glue. No bending, soldering, or complicated handling required. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced modeler, you’ll find our parts easy to work with right out of the box.
Are BSK Model’s products fully compatible with existing injection kits?
BSK Model’s products are designed to closely match the dimensions of actual Tanks and vehicles. They are carefully adjusted to fit as perfectly as possible with injection kits. However, since injection kits are designed and produced by various brands, we cannot guarantee a perfect fit for every kit. We primarily reference Tamiya, Dragon, and Takom products and conduct cross-verification to ensure compatibility with other kits. Despite this, please be aware that some kits—especially older injection kits—may experience fitting issues.
What type of resin is used for BSK Model’s 3D-printed parts, and how flexible are they?
BSK Model’s 3D-printed parts are made from photopolymer resin, which is flexible yet durable. However, in some cases, the parts might feel overly flexible. To reduce this excessive flexibility, you can take advantage of the resin’s properties by exposing the parts to sunlight for about an hour before use. This additional curing helps to firm up the parts without compromising detail or quality.
